tl;dr RCI needed a series of “big vision pitches,” including the futurization of key guest experiences via emerging technologies. I pulled a small team together to assemble, build and choreograph a series of multi-functional presentations for visioneering, fundraising and organizational alignment.
After Riot, I re-connected with some folks who had been at Disney Parks - who had subsequently moved over to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines to lead new products and experiences.
The resulting work knit together new marketing, sales, booking, check-in, on-ship, and crew technologies and experiences. I worked with the RCI team to prototype new digital experiences and dramatize those journeys in presentations - often working in tandem with a physical installation that was to be the location for the presentation.
In addition, a new headquarters for RCI was in the planning and budgeting stages - and I assisted that team in envisioning the new employee experience, putting new key technologies into daily situations to help various leaders understand technology’s role in the new building complex.
