Design Leader +
Visual Strategy Storyteller
ex-Riot Games + Razorfish + BLITZ
Design/UX/Brand/Mktg Leader
15+ years experience in brand and UX design, strategy and management. I build and lead teams in creating stronger creative practices. I shape powerful communications and collaborations for more useful products.
I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the greatest design minds and brands in the world.
Projects and Work Examples
I led a series of projects for Disney Parks when I was at Razorfish and BLITZ, focused on imagineering a new way of planning and experiencing vacations, during booking, planning and in the resort.
I worked with the world-class Royal Caribbean team to present big, new ideas to stakeholders, executives and investors. We prototyped and presented $100M+ ideas for an HQ and a new brand of experience on ships.
I worked on Call of Duty as a product design and strategy leader, leading to the release of the COD Elite subscription platform and an evolution to COD’s DLC strategy.
Honda invited me to help them conceptualize and test a new product idea. I built a small team, storyboarded and prototyped the new customer journey, and tested it with customers, greenlighting the idea for a future release.
I was the Head of Marketing and Publishing for North America at Riot Games between 2017 and 2019. I was responsible for developing a strategy for growth, brand and regional vs. global operations.

My Work + Background
Head of Design, Head of Brand
Onlife is a bold and funded startup in the spatial intelligence space. I led and built game, brand and product design teams for two products: the map-based sneaker collection game Aglet, and for the Onlife Smart Map.
My responsibilities include day-to-day design leadership, communication and system design, as well as story and materials development fundraising.
Head of Brand, Head of Marketing
GreenPark is a play for the future of sports fandom, in the form of a social mobile game platform.
The NBA, MLS, La Liga and League of Legends fans compete for primacy, prizes and in-game digital collectibles. GreenPark is currently re-launching as For Keeps - and working with exciting partners to build the future of fandom together in the fall of 2024.
Co-Founder, Conversation Designer
PitchCraft is a story design studio and software startup. We create strategy and stories for people who want to build new ideas.
That means we make all kinds of materials and content, including presentations, videos and web/mobile content. As you can imagine, we also often help out with branding and prototyping as part of building these new idea platforms.
We want to work with agencies, startups, brands, creative teams - anyone who needs what we’re calling a Full Stack Story.
2006-2019
My Work + Background
Head of Publishing + Marketing,
Riot Games, North America
I led the North American Publishing function at Riot Games. I focused my efforts on developing and testing a Growth Marketing team and approach in collaboration with the rest of the Riot team, as well as establishing a brand leadership and creative strategy framework for the company - in preparation for the successful launch of half a dozen new games - a new and massive achievement by the brand.
EVP, Experience at BLITZ Agency
I built and managed the Planning, Strategy and UX Design teams at BLITZ Agency - later acquired by Advantage Solutions and rolled up into Amp Agency.
I created a unified strategic planning function and ecosystem model for the companies and worked directly on clients including Disney Parks, Microsoft, Activision and 2K games.
Information Architect, UX Designer
and Lead, Director of UX and VP
Experience, Sapient + Razorfish
I worked as a designer, practice leader and executive in the West Coast for Sapient and Razorfish. I developed digital product and experience designs for Intel, the NFL, Fandango, Pfizer, Sony and Call of Duty. I created a skills development and management matrix for UX designers, worked to integrate UX and design thinking across the organization and led new business and strategy initiatives.
Design requires full-stack stories.
Full-Stack Stories can host conversations.
Conversations can empower change.
But for now, here are some slides - stories told with images across time, but frozen here. For now. So, what is a full-stack story? A full-stack story is built and evolved over time, and contains all of the layers necessary for collaborative communication - not just a presentation (broadcast.)
